Animal Kingdom. Our warm and welcoming stoneware features melted ground glass in sparkling tones cooled to a crackled finish. One adds a touch of couture craft to your console, or group the collection to give your mantel some modern menagerie magic. Jonathan and his team design and sculpt the models in our Soho studio. Prototypes are then sent to our partner workshop where skilled artisans produce each piece in high-fired brown stoneware. Recycled ground glass melts during firing and pools into reservoirs of glossy color in the hollow recesses. Finally, white oxide stain is rubbed into the textured surface and the piece is lightly waxed after firing to create an appealingly smooth finish.
