Artek's Domus Chair proves a masterpiece of modern furniture design. Designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1946 for the Domus Academica student housing complex in Helsinki, this chair was created to be multi-purpose, which holds true today as well. Comfortable enough to sit in for hours with short arms that allow you to push the chair in all the way to a table, Domus has proved to be an international success and has come to be known as "The Finn Chair."
