Richard Schultz designed the 1966 Collection at the request of Florence Knoll who, after retiring, wanted outdoor furniture that could withstand the corrosive Florida ocean air. The 1966 Collection is regarded as the first modern outdoor furniture and has been the category standard ever since. View the full 1966 Collection. The 1966 Coffee Table is available in six sizes and a variety of color combinations. Standard online offering includes the tabletop in dark bronze porcelain with an onyx base or white porcelain with a white base (except for sizes 28" x 28" and 32" x 20", which offer more base colors for the white porcelain top). Tabletop is white porcelain enamel on steel. Frame is welded cast and extruded aluminum finished in weather resistant polyester powder coat. Stainless steel supports and connectors. Glides included.
