The Deskey Table Lamp is an iconic modern classic piece designed in 1937 by the American, Donald Deskey. Donald Deskey is considered to be one of the great American pioneers of industrial design. His primary focus during his career was on furniture and textiles. Much of his design work was completed in the 1930s and 1940s. During that time he created the interior design for Radio City Music Hall. Made in Italy. Dimensions: Height 15 3/4" Diameter 19" Materials: Table lamp. Base in massive steel, shaped and finished in chrome. Chrome plated stem. Shade in turned aluminum. The exterior of shade lacquered black. Interior of shade lacquered white.
